Just went there in Hawaii and got the pokey which is on point and less expensive than if you go to any of the pokey places. There's a lot of variety. And almost everything is on sale so you have to sign up to get a customer number with them which is free to set up. definitely Will be back every time I come back to Hawaii

This was our go-to for poke when we were in Lahaina last year. I've heard they made it through the terrible fires that damaged Lahaina town. I hope the staff and their families are safe because this is a gem. I remember service being quick, cashiers being friendly, and feeling a sense of home in this large supermarket.

Maui has a ton of poke places, but I heard that Foodland is one of the best since that's where the locals go. I didn't need the poke to be fancy... just fresh and of good quality. After a morning of walking around the Lahaina shopping district, three of us came here to grab poke bowls. We selected the $7.99 option which includes 1/3 pound of poke on top of warm rice (white or brown). It's a great value! I've never seen so many varieties of poke. I decided on the classic spicy Ahi poke and my family members got the California Roll style and Furikake style. For an extra $1, I added on cucumber kimchi for the crunch and to balance out the creaminess of the sauce. Our bowls were surprisingly heavy, but contained SO much rice. My spicy ahi was tasty, and the large chunks of tuna were nicely coated in the sauce. It didn't have as much spice as I had hoped though. The kimchi cucumbers added a pleasant heat, some acidity and a good crunch. On a second occasion, we picked up a few Spam Musubis as a snack for our drive up to the Nakalele Blowhole. They were delicious. The Spam had a slightly sweet glaze and the rice was still a good texture even after sitting under the heat lamp. They had little cardboard plates in the warmer that you could take which came in handy when eating the musubis on the go. The prepared foods, deli items and desserts all looked delicious. Aisles were clean and the staff was also friendly. You can't go wrong with a stop at Foodland!

Nice place for poke $7.90 and above and Hawaiian bento $10. Shoyu Ahi- fresh and delicious Pastele stew (pork) - abit too salty.
